Deep in the forest of Sweden, lies a 36 000 square meter big gunpowder factory from WWII. It’s located inside a mountain in Ludvika municipality, Dalanas county. There are several questions that remains unanswered regarding this huge, and apparently secret factory (due to its location and other facts) like; what did the neutral country of Sweden do with such amounts of gunpowder during WWII?
According to people who worked here, the factory was operated from 1940 to 1945 (some say it was operating already in 1939).
The factory, and a small village with around 30 building just next to it (laboratories, offices and more), still stands in the middle of this wilderness.
